Vardzia Monastery is a real cave miracle located in the Samtskhe-Javakheti region. Queen Tamar built a complex in the 12th century to protect the Borjomi Gorge.

The uniqueness of this object consists of 600 rock-cut rooms, completely invisible from the outside.

Another landmark of the region is the city of Akhaltsikhe with the incredible fortress of Rabat, built in the 16th and 17th centuries. AD The fortress is made in the Ottoman architectural style.
